The Chicago Bears are preparing for season number two with Caleb Williams under center, but year one with offensive wizard Ben Johnson as their head coach. Fans are starting to have a little bit of an expectation for this team heading into 2025.
However, there is one player who seemingly isn’t impressing so far.
Fans Shocked As Bears Coach Caught Trashing Own Player On Hot Mic (Report)

In Chicago, the Bears have an unsettled running back depth chart, with rookie Kyle Monangai currently in the mix:
Things are not starting out well for him.
Monangai wasn’t the running back that analysts expected the Bears to add in the 2025 NFL Draft, but it is who they chose. The team was tied to Ashton Jeanty as a first-round target, and the failed trade attempt to move up in Round 2 for TreVeyon Henderson.
The native of Roseland, New Jersey, is going viral for all the wrong reasons this week.
During voluntary OTAs, a clip surfaced of Eric Bienemy going through running back drills.
Three running backs went through the drill before it was time for Kyle Monangai to get his shot.
His movements were nowhere near those of the other running backs, and the coach let him hear about it.

A two-time team captain, Monangai appeared in 52 career games, rushing 669 times for 3,221 yards and 27 rushing touchdowns. He eclipsed 1,200 yards on the ground each of the last two seasons.
A Second-Team All-Big Ten selection in 2023, Monangai led the conference with 1,262 yards, claiming Most Valuable Player honors in the Scarlet Knights’ victory in the Pinstripe Bowl.
