NFL fans are going to be sad once the season comes to an end. The MLB season is not far away and there are NFL fans who are not happy about what is happening across the sport, especially with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After outfielder Kyle Tucker signed a four-year, $240 million deal with the Dodgers, a lot of fans were commenting that they can not wait for a MLB lockout. Michael Fabiano, a fantasy football expert said, “The Dodgers will win a third straight title, and then a work stoppage will further hurt the sport. Baseball is on the verge of being in big trouble.” He is correct about this no doubt. After the 2026 season ends, the CBA negotiations could potentially get very ugly.
NFL Fans Agree With Michael Fabiano’s Take About a Possible Work Stoppage

There are a lot of fans who agree with Fabiano about the MLB potentially having a work stoppage about the 2026 season. This is what some NFL fans had to say about this:
What a terrible day for baseball. As a fellow Yankee fan I use to love doing what the Dodgers do but you can and good for the Dodgers. That being said you need a damn salary cap. What are they doing ? The game of baseball is a joke. Don’t play the season. Hand the trophy to LA.

No shot. They’re never going to force owners to pay more (salary floor) or evade the luxury tax. Been doing this for 50+ years man. I’m a Braves fan and I think it’s dumb. Have to have something the like steroid era to save baseball though.

Absolutely Correct.
The need for a salary cap with a luxury tax is necessary with these insane contracts.
No small market team can compete.
If that happens, the players union will most definitely strike.— DARTH TEXAS (@DBillescas) January 16, 2026
It already is in big trouble. Really big. LA just sealed it.

Any idea when the Yankees are going to do something or are they just standing pat with being mediocre

It will be interesting to see if the MLB season will be a joke or not. It feels like a Dodgers three-peat will most definitely shut down the sport. NFL fans want to see that sport get a salary cap.
