Barry Sanders’ Former Team To Kick Off Preseason Soon
On another note, Barry Sanders’ former team, the Detroit Lions are all set to kick off their preseason in a couple of days. The Lions will be paired against the Los Angeles Chargers for their first preseason game.
The Detroit Lions have been pretty busy this offseason, making many credible changes to their roster in hopes of a better record this upcoming season. The Lions managed to only limp to the divisional round to lose to the Washington Commanders. However, the team will be hoping to do much better in the 2025 NFL campaign as they kick it off with a matchup against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.

The Detroit Lions will be led in offense by none other than quarterback Jared Goff as he currently gears up for his fifth season with the team after joining back in 2021. In the 2024 NFL campaign, Goff managed to chalk up 37 touchdowns and will be hoping to churn out better numbers in the 2025 season.
