Baltimore Ravens star receiver exited early with an injury in Week 18
Ravens’ star Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers suffered an apparent knee injury during the second quarter after Mohamoud Diabate hit his knee hard as he went to the ground. Flowers limped off the field and went directly into the medical tent, where he later went to the locker room for further examination. After initially being listed as questionable, the Ravens later downgraded him to out.
Ravens’ star receiver’s status remains uncertain for Wild Card
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, during Monday’s press conference, head coach John Harbaugh told the media that Zay Flowers avoided a season-ending injury against the Cleveland Browns during their regular-season finale. Although Flowers dodged a catastrophic knee injury, he is considered day-to-day. As Rapoport points out, it will be a challenge for the Pro Bowl wide receiver to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend.
