The Baltimore Ravens went into Thursday Night Football with quarterback Lamar Jackson playing at an MVP level. Derrick Henry not far behind in that category, as he leads the league in rushing by a wide margin. The Ravens offense has been firing on all cylinders this season. The emergence of tight end Isiah Likely was a welcomed surprise at the beginning of the season. The Ravens have star power and playmakers all over the field on offense. Whether it be Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, Zay Flowers, or old reliable Mark Andrews.
However, it was none of these big-name players that would lead the Ravens in receiving yards for the night. That honor goes to, Tylan Wallace. Wallace typically only a special teams player seized his opportunity to shine in front of a national audience.
Tylan Wallace Has Career Night for Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens fans thought they might get their first looks at newly acquired receiver Diontae Johnson last night. What they didn’t anticipate was Tylan Wallace the former Oklahoma State star to explode onto the scene and make one of the biggest plays of the night. Wallace would catch a short pass from Lamar Jackson, and after miraculously staying inbounds, Wallace would take the catch 84 yards for the touchdown.
Wallace would finish the contest with three catches for 115 yards and the one touchdown. This marked Tylan Wallace’s first 100+ yard game of his career. The former fourth-round pick has waited for his time to shine since being drafted by the Ravens in 2021.
Not The First Time Wallace Makes Splash Play

Just last season Tylan Wallace made another surprising play to help the Ravens win a crucial game. Against the Los Angeles Rams, Wallace would return a punt 76 yards for the walk-off touchdown and give the Ravens the overtime win 37-31.
Just like last season’s game, the Ravens were wearing their all-purple uniforms. Jackson joked to reports after the game that they must be Wallace’s magical uniforms because he always makes big plays when they wear them. This type of performance could earn Wallace more playing time on the offensive side of the ball and not only on special teams. This also serves as a reminder to the rest of the league; the Ravens have great depth at key skill positions that can make game-defining plays any given week.
