As previously discussed on Gridiron Heroics, the Baltimore Ravens breakout wide receiver Rashod Bateman surprisingly popped up on Wednesday’s injury report with a foot injury. Bateman did not practice on Thursday, and the Ravens listed him as questionable for their Saturday afternoon clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Heading into Saturday, there was optimism that the star receiver would play this afternoon, but he would have to work out during pre-game warmups before they made their official decision.
The Baltimore Ravens WR2 had a good workout
Bateman worked out during pre-game warmups. According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Bateman had a good workout as he was cutting and running routes without any issues or a noticeable limp. As Zrebiec points out, the star receiver was not surrounded by the training staff, which is a great sign regarding his availability. The Ravens released their inactive players list at 2:00 P.M. CT.

The Ravens officially announced his game status
The Baltimore Ravens released their inactive players list a little while ago and ruled out six players for Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens ruled out Nelson Agholor with a concussion, but Rashod Bateman is officially active and will play against the Steelers in a pivotal divisional matchup. He will be active for the 15th game this season, which is the second most in his four-year NFL career, behind 2023, when he played 16 games.
