The Baltimore Ravens star cornerback Marlon Humphrey had a great 2024 season in the slot, earning him his fourth Pro Bowl selection after missing seven games in 2023. Humphrey boasted career-highs in interceptions and tied 2018 for the most pass deflections in his career. He registered 67 tackles, six interceptions, one pick-six, and 15 pass deflections, allowing 58 receptions on 96 targets for 556 yards, three touchdowns, and a 60.9 passer rating in 16 games.
The Baltimore Ravens CB faced an uncertain future

Marlon Humphrey enters the fourth year of his 5-year, $97.5 million contract extension. He is scheduled to earn a $14 million base salary and a $25,377,800 cap hit in 2025, a $15.25 million base salary, and a $22.927 million cap hit in 2026. Since the Ravens would free up $9.689 million with a pre-June 1st cut, many considered Humphrey to be a cap casualty this offseason.

As a result, Humphrey’s $18 million base salary drops to the league minimum of $1.255 million and his $25,377,800 cap hit drops to $11,731,800 in 2025. Finally, his $16.745 million signing bonus will be evenly spread for the next five years at a value of $3.349 million.

Since the Ravens currently have four cornerbacks on their active roster, they will, at some point, add players to the position either in free agency or the draft.
