The 3-2 Baltimore Ravens host the 4-1 Washington Commanders at M&T Bank Stadium for their exciting and crucial Week 6 matchup of the 2024 season. The Ravens’ secondary will need all hands on deck since they play against early Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite in quarterback Jayden Daniels. Fans were worried whether their Pro Bowl/All-Pro defensive back would play.
The Baltimore Ravens CB1 suffered a lower-leg injury last week
Marlon Humphrey suffered an apparent ankle injury in their 41-38 overtime victory over the Cincinnati Bengals last week. Humphrey was spotted in a walking boot postgame, and John Harbaugh wasn’t overly concerned about his injury. “Yeah, these are physical, tough games with the turf and all that,” Harbaugh answered. “Don’t want to make any promises but I think we’re in good shape.”
The team expects him to play
Marlon Humphrey did not participate in Wednesday’s practice but participated in Thursday and Friday’s practice as a limited participant. The Baltimore Ravens released their final injury report on Friday and had Humphrey listed as questionable. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the team expects him to play in their exciting Week 6 matchup against the Washington Commanders, a big boost for their secondary.
#Ravens All-Pro CB Marlon Humphrey, who was limited this week with an ankle injury, is expected to play today, source said.
