The Baltimore Ravens won the AFC North once again this season with Lamar Jackson leading the way. The Ravens were the number one seed in 2023 and they were the number three seed during the 2024 season.

Baltimore beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Round, but they lost to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round. Even with Jackson not making the Super Bowl once again this season, many Ravens fans will blame tight end Mark Andrews more for the playoff loss rather than Lamar Jackson.
Pro Football Focus Has Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson As the Number 1 Ranked Player For the 2024 Season

Pro Football Focus listed its Top 101 players for the 2024 season. They had some interesting rankings for this list. Lamar Jackson, the star quarterback for the Ravens, was ranked as the number-one player for the 2024 season. Some thought he should have won the MVP Award again this season over Josh Allen, but the voting was very close.
Pro Football Focus said about Jackson being the number one player on this list:
“Jackson produced his best season as a passer in 2024 en route to leading all quarterbacks with a 94.9 overall grade. He is the first quarterback in PFF history to record a 90.0-plus passing grade and rushing grade in the same season. As a passer, he set new career bests with a 6.3% big-time throw rate and a 1.6% turnover-worthy play rate. On the ground, he led all quarterbacks with 1,035 rushing yards and 40 explosive runs, postseason included. This version of Jackson is simply unstoppable.”
Jackson this past season completed 66.7% of his passes for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He also rushed for 915 yards on 139 carries and four touchdowns, along with averaging 6.6 yards per carry. Jackson’s numbers were off the charts this past NFL season.
Three Quarterbacks In the Top 10

There were three quarterbacks ranked in the Top 10 for Pro Football Focus Top 101. Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills was ranked sixth and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals was ranked fourth, along with Jackson being ranked number one.
It is undeniable that those three quarterbacks were the Top 3 in the NFL this season. However, it could be debatable among some about who was the best this season. Pro Football Focus believes that Jackson is the top quarterback in the NFL this season and some may not agree with that.
