The Baltimore Ravens need to address their swing tackle depth after losing Patrick Mekari to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Josh Jones to the Seattle Seahawks. To make matters worse, Ronnie Stanley and Roger Rosengarten are the only two offensive tackles under contract, with zero backups on their roster. Because of this, the Ravens will either address their swing tackle woes in free agency or through the upcoming draft.

According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, the Ravens hosted George Fant for a visit on Monday. Fant enters his tenth year in the league and has developed into a reliable swing tackle with over 75 starts to his name. He is one of the best free-agent tackles remaining.

He missed most of 2024 due to injury

The Seattle Seahawks signed George Fant to a two-year, $14 million max contract last offseason. Fant couldn’t stay healthy and was limited to two games, the second-lowest total in his career. He missed Week 2 and spent Weeks 3-8 on injured reserve with a knee injury. The Seahawks activated him for Week 9, but his return didn’t last long. He suffered a knee injury during the same game and missed the rest of the year.
