The Baltimore Ravens took a heartbreaking loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, dropping their record to 7-4. It was a low-scoring game, with field goals being the deciding factor, and star kicker Justin Tucker struggled to make his kicks to keep his team in the game. Tucker is now blaming his struggles on the kicking surface in Pittsburgh.
Baltimore Ravens Star Blames Field Conditions For Loss
Tucker said that the kicking surface was not ideal in yesterday’s game in Pittsburgh, which is why the Ravens were not able to pull out the victory. Tucker missed two key field goals that would have given Baltimore the win.

Justin Tucker Struggles
Despite Tucker complaining about the field conditions, Steelers kicker Chris Boswell went six-for-six on his kicks to seal the deal for Pittsburgh. Tucker has been one of the premier kickers in the league for his entire career and has been struggling to find success this season.
The star kicker has already missed six field goals this season despite having over a 90 percent success rate in most seasons. He has never had lower than an 80 percent success rate to finish a season, and he currently only has a 72.7 percent success rate in 2024, the lowest of his career by far.
