Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Baker Mayfield always had the support of his wife, Emily Mayfield. This time, Emily echoed that support to a fellow NFL wife.
In an Instagram post, Emily Mayfield, the wife of Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield, showed admiration towards the game-day fashion of Marissa Lawrence, wife of Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence.
“Cheering on my guy with my girl 💙,” Marissa wrote in the caption.
“Okay, wellllll this is the cutest fit,” Emily wrote in the comments section. She completed the comment with a heart eyes and fire emoji.

Through three games, Mayfield has totaled 615 passing yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions, added 116 rushing yards, and posted a 99.5 passer rating. With these numbers, analysts give merit for early MVP consideration to Mayfield despite his lower profile.
Baker Mayfield Gets Honest on Feelings Towards Jets Win
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield called Sunday’s 29-27 victory over the New York Jets a personal triumph, noting extra motivation because Jets defensive coordinator Steve Wilks had cut him during his time with the Carolina Panthers.
In an interview, Mayfield got honest about how the win felt for him. More than another victory to improve their standings, he revealed that it holds a deeper meaning for him.
“I loved it,” he told reporters after the contest. “And also their D-coordinator was the one that cut me in Carolina. [A] lot of stuff was personal today. Haason Reddick, former Jet… a lot of people.”

Under the leadership of Baker Mayfield, the team has won its last three contests by narrow margins, as Mayfield made a late-career resurgence following the best season of his life in which he passed for career highs and led the Bucs to consecutive playoff berths.
So far this year, Baker Mayfield has helped the Buccaneers football team with a 3–0 record and has played very well in all three games. He has thrown for 615 yards, completing 61 of his passes, throwing 6 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions, for a passer rating of 104.87.
