Baker Mayfield and Kirk Cousins are going up against each other on Thursday Night Football for a spot at the top of the NFC South, but even though they are about to have a battle, the two came together to do something much better than football.
Baker Mayfield And Kirk Cousins Do A Great Thing
Last week, Hurricane Helene tore through southern states such as Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and so many more, leaving thousands of people without their food and homes and even over 200 people dead.
The Hurricane impacted many people, including Baker Mayfield, who had to go to a hotel and leave his house last week because he was in the path of the storm.
Before the Thursday night football game, Mayfield and Cousins donated $50,000 each to Team Rubicon to help people affected by the storm.
Thank you to our first responders and volunteers for working so tirelessly to restore our communities following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

I’m glad Baker’s using his voice to advocate for those affected, but I hope he’ll continue to engage with this issue in a more comprehensive way. 🙏
