The Super Bowl halftime show represents a career milestone for any performer. The stage draws millions of viewers from across the globe. Bad Bunny will headline the event in February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium.

One familiar voice stepped in with advice this week, joining the list of mentors who have guided him with key lessons along the way.

Joey Fatone Shares Performance Tips with Bad Bunny

Joey Fatone joined the TMZ Sports Live Stream on Monday. The former NSYNC member discussed music and the upcoming halftime show. He performed at Super Bowl XXXV in 2001 at Raymond James Stadium.

Fatone expressed support for the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny for Super Bowl LX, acknowledging that the choice divided some people. He favors rotating performers from different genres at the Big Game.

He said pop music constantly changes with time. “Nobody’s crying that pop music isn’t out there right now,” he explained. “It’s just different styles, different years.” He pointed to how trends shift fast. “This year, it’s Bad Bunny,” he said. “Maybe next year? Who knows?”

Fatone also performed at Levi’s Stadium during the 49ers versus Falcons game this past Sunday. His experience spans decades of major NFL performances, and his knowledge comes from real stage time.

His advice to Bad Bunny centers on a simple message, “Have fun.” Fatone told him to enjoy and embrace the experience because it passes quickly. All the preparation and rehearsals boil down to those few minutes on stage.

The goal is to see how much performance can impress everybody. The pressure builds for months, and the moment lasts minutes.

The stakes remain high for Bad Bunny. Super Bowl LX takes place February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Bad Bunny completed a historic Puerto Rico residency this month that drew more than half a million fans.

The selection sparked immediate controversy from conservative circles. Bad Bunny backed Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 presidential election. He shared a clip of Harris discussing Donald Trump’s Hurricane Maria response with his millions of Instagram followers.

Harris said she would never forget what Trump did and did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and competent leader.

She stated that Trump abandoned the island and tried to block aid after devastating hurricanes. Trump offered nothing more than paper towels and insults, according to Harris.

Bad Bunny told i-D magazine he purposely excluded the continental United States from his 2025-2026 concert tour because he feared the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement could raid concert venues. His concerns centered on protecting his fans.

Bad Bunny addressed the backlash during his Saturday Night Live hosting appearance on October 4, 2025. During his monologue, he spoke directly to his Latino community in Spanish and told those who did not understand to learn Spanish before February.

The February performance looms large. The political tensions remain unresolved.
