The Kansas State student section has made a habit out of chanting F*** KU at sporting events. This led the school’s band to threaten to end the playing of the Wabash Cannonball following last week’s game against South Dakota. The Wabash has been a K-State tradition since 1968 and its one of the fun things about visiting Bill Snyder Family Stadium. On Saturday, K-State had its first home game since the warning was issued and the students replaced F-KU with K-S-U during the song. Football season is finally here! Chiefs Kingdom has been patiently waiting to see what the offense will look like with the new personnel. One thing I have been waiting to see is what kind of defenses the Chiefs will see. For much of last season the Chiefs saw two-deep shell coverage to help stall the explosive offense and to keep Tyreek Hill in front of them.
