For decades, Florida and Kentucky games were the opposite of rivalry games. Florida had won a record 31 straight games against Kentucky. The unprecedented streak ended in 2018. Russell Wilson makes his return to Seattle Monday after being traded this offseason. Monday will be his first NFL game in a different uniform. The film on Florida’s defense was unimpressive, to say the least. In week one the Florida Gators got a win over seventh-ranked Utah. The Gators escaped by the skin of their teeth. Senior linebacker Amari Burney intercepted a pass with 22 seconds left to seal the win. The interception was spectacular and very clutch, but It was one of Burney’s only good plays of the night. he and several other defenders struggled to execute throughout the game. The Seattle Seahawks underwent massive changes to their roster this offseason. They are going to be bad, but should the Seahawks tank? The biggest change is the loss of star quarterback Russel Wilson. But other players are gone as well. The 2022 Florida Gators roster has tons of talent. The player generating the most buzz is Anthony Richardson. But Florida’s best player plays on the other side of the ball. Florida’s best player is of course senior linebacker Ventrell Miller. He is Florida’s defensive anchor. He is one of many players that is taking advantage of an extra year of eligibility.
