The Dallas Cowboys always have some of the most fascinating storylines in the NFL, but heading into 2024, it’s almost impossible to predict what Jerry Jones and company have planned. If you listen to Jones, he’s sticking by his statement that Dallas is going “all in” for 2024 with the goal to finally get over the playoff hump and secure another Lombardi Trophy. That logic made sense following the Cowboys’ early exit from the playoffs. They had a team loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and their franchise QB Dak Prescott, was leading the MVP conversation for…

The Las Vegas Raiders haven’t been strangers to controversy over the last few years. In 2021, head coach Jon Gruden resigned after emails emerged of him using homophobic, racist and misogynistic language in emails while he worked as an ESPN analyst. Gruden was one of the NFL’s highest-paid coaches, having signed a 10-year, $100 million contract with the Raiders, according to salary tracking website Spotrac. He first coached the Raiders from 1998 to 2001, then won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. At the time, Gruden was 39 and then, the youngest coach to win the…

The Minnesota Vikings lost Kirk Cousins to the Atlanta Falcons this offseason and are heading into 2024 with the expectation to win now. Instead of throwing another massive paycheck at Cousins — who was fantastic for the Vikings during the regular season but was never able to go on a significant run in the playoffs — the Minnesota brass let the Atlanta Falcons give their former QB a major payday and decided to hit the reset button on the QB position. The Vikings signed former first round pick Sam Darnold  — who spent last season as a backup for the…

The San Francisco 49ers are entering 2024 with Super Bowl aspirations yet again, and with Brock Purdy playing on the final year of his rookie deal, they have been able to keep one of the most talented rosters in the NFL in tact so far. That will most likely change in a major way after this season when they have to give Purdy a major payday — so in April’s NFL Draft — it wasn’t surprising to see GM John Lynch select a WR in the first round, knowing that it will be almost impossible to keep both Brandon Aiyuk…

The Georgia Bulldogs have been great on the field since Kirby Smart took over as head coach, but off the field has been a far different story. Since January 2022, more than 10 Bulldogs have been arrested; and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that in Smart’s seven-year tenure, women have come forward and accused 11 players of some form of abuse. Incoming freshman defensive tackle Jamaal Jarrett was not charged but was investigated in connection with a sexual assault claim during a visit to Georgia when he was 16 years old, and it was reported that Jarrett missed curfew and had…

Lane Kiffin has had a whirlwind of a coaching career to bring him to being the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels.  After thriving as a young assistant for USC, the Oakland Raiders made Kiffin the youngest head coach in NFL history when they hired him in 2007 at age 31. In January of 2008, ESPN NFL analyst Chris Mortensen reported that Raiders Owner Al Davis, who was not known for being patient with his coaches, tried to force Kiffin to resign after his first season ended with a 4–12 record. A source allegedly close to Lane Kiffin told…
