The Kansas City Chiefs are attempting to pull off an almost impossible feat by winning three Super Bowls in a row. Heading into a season with so much on the line, the organization would ideally like to avoid as many distractions as possible heading into 2024, but the opposite has been true. The Chiefs have dominated headlines this offseason —but the storylines haven’t been about football — and there seems to be one controversy after the next with the Super Bowl champs. For the last two months, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been in the news and…

The Dallas Cowboys did it yet again and Dak Prescott — with the season on the line and legitimate expectations for a Super Bowl run from smart people both inside the Dallas building and media/analysts from outside — believed las year’s 2023 squad was different. Why? Prescott was in the discussion for NFL MVP this season and closed out arguably the best regular season of his career. The Cowboys entered Saturday’s wildcard round matchup as two-score favorites over the Green. Bay Packers, who have a first-year starting QB and the youngest roster in the NFL. Dak Prescott closed out the…

The Dallas Cowboys are heading into one of the most important seasons in recent franchise history. Instead of extending Dak Prescott after the 2024 season, Jerry Jones and company chose to do nothing and are letting their franchise QB play out the final year of his current deal. Extending him after the early playoff loss would have opened up salary cap space to add talent around Prescott and the Cowboys would have likely gotten him on a bargain deal, but now things have drastically changed. With Trevor Lawrence recently re-setting the QB market, Prescott now holds all the leverage over…

The Dallas Cowboys are entering one of the most pivotal seasons in recent franchise history considering everything that’s on the line in 2024. Owner Jerry Jones has made it clear the Cowboys are going “all-in” for 2024 and decided to retain Mike McCarthy for one more season to see if he can get the talented roster past the first round in the playoffs and possibly reach the Super Bowl expectations Jones expects. After a fantastic regular season where Dallas won the NFC East with a (12-5) record which gave them home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs,…

The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the strangest anomalies in the NFL since Dak Prescott took over as the starting QB in 2016. Season after season, Prescott performs as well as the top quarterbacks in the NFL for the first 17 games, but chokes in the playoffs and the Cowboys have an early exit. This year felt different. Mike McCarthy took over play calling after parting ways with Kellen Moore and the offense exploded. Prescott and WR CeeDee Lamb — who earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2023 — emerged as the top QB/WR in the NFL Dak Prescott finished the…

The New York Jets learned their lesson the hard way last season when they bet all their chips on Aaron Rodgers without having any real plan if their new franchise QB got hurt. Ahead of last season, the Jets were viewed as legitimate Super Bowl contenders — and now with a healthy Rodgers and capable backup in case the worst case scenario happened again — New York is heading into 2024 with aspirations to bring home a Lombardi Trophy. On paper, it’s hard to argue the Jets roster isn’t capable of contending with anyone in the NFL. Offensively, they have…

The Pittsburgh Steelers made a few significant offseason moves and should be poised to make a run at the playoffs in 20224. The franchise parted ways with Kenny Pickett, who was supposed to be the next franchise QB and found a way to land two potential high-level starting QBs for almost nothing. Both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields have proven they can play at a high level and the Steelers gave up little to nothing to bring in the new QB duo. The  Steelers have the longest-tenured head coach in the NFL, and their lead man is now going to be…

The Dallas Cowboys have taken a risky approach when it comes to retaining their biggest stars for the future, particularly QB Dak Prescott. Instead of inking Prescott to a new extension following one of his best NFL seasons where he was leading the MVP conversation for most of the year, Jerry Jones has opted to sit on his hands and even stated publicly the plan is to let the Cowboys franchise QB play out the final year of his current deal. While Prescott’s postseason struggles have been well-documented, he enters 2024 as the No. 6 QB in the NFL according…
