The Kansas City Chiefs have been in the headlines all offseason for issues that don’t involve football. Right after they won their second-straight Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers, their parade became a horror scene as gunfire sent fans fleeing and praying for their lives. After that terrifying event, the Chiefs continued to make headlines all offseason and they weren’t always for the right reasons. Second year WR Rashee Rice was one of the biggest stories, as he awaits his fate from law enforcement for leaving the scene of a hit-and-run where he was caught on video. Rice was…

The Dallas Cowboys did it yet again and Dak Prescott — with the season on the line and legitimate expectations for a Super Bowl run from smart people both inside the Dallas building and media/analysts from outside — believed this 2023 squad was different. Why? Prescott was in the discussion for NFL MVP this season and closed out arguably the best regular season of his career. The Cowboys entered the wildcard round matchup as two-score favorites over the Green. Bay Packers, who have a first-year starting QB and the youngest roster in the NFL. Dak Prescott closed out the 2023…
The New York Jets are all-in for 2024. Ahead of last season, the Jets were viewed as legitimate Super Bowl contenders — and now with a healthy Aaron Rodgers and capable backup in case the worst case scenario happened again — New York is heading into 2024 with aspirations to bring home a Lombardi Trophy. On paper, it’s hard to argue the Jets roster isn’t capable of contending with anyone in the NFL. Offensively, they have talent across the board — from running back Breece Hall — who has become one of the most dynamic ball-carriers in the league, to…
The Minnesota Vikings community got hit with an unimaginable tragedy last week when it was announced fourth-round rookie CB Khyree Jackson passed away in a car accident. Three men in total, including Jackson, all passed away in the crash. The men, 24-year-old Jackson, 23-year-old Isaiah Hazel, and 24-year-old Anthony “AJ” Lytton Jr., was driving in their Dodge Charger when they were run off the road on Route 4 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, by an alleged drunk driver Cori Clingman. Jackson was a standout at Oregon last season and was selected by the Vikings in the fourth round of the NFL…
The Georgia Bulldogs have been great on the field since Kirby Smart took over as head coach, but off the field has been a far different story. Since January 2022, more than 10 Bulldogs have been arrested; and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that in Smart’s seven-year tenure, women have come forward and accused 11 players of some form of abuse. Incoming freshman defensive tackle Jamaal Jarrett was not charged but was investigated in connection with a sexual assault claim during a visit to Georgia when he was 16 years old, and it was reported that Jarrett missed curfew and had…
Caleb Williams has been the face of the USC Trojans the past two seasons since following his coach, Lincoln Riley, from Oklahoma to LA two years ago. Williams suddenly turned into one of the most polarizing players in all of college football and in his first season at USC, accomplished just about every feat possible. The dual-threat QB became the University of Southern California’s eighth Heisman winner when he was announced as the recipient of the 88th Heisman Memorial Trophy following a sophomore season in which he also won the Maxwell and Walter Camp Awards and the 2022 AP Player…
Deion Sanders is back in “Primtetime” mode as the 2024 college football season gets closer and the hype around the Colorado Buffaloes continues to ramp up ahead of the new year. Sanders became one of the most polarizing stories in college football in 2023. He took over a Colorado Buffaloes team that only won one game in 2022 — built a new roster through the transfer portal — and ended up winning four games with one of the hardest schedules in college football. While the 2023 Colorado squad didn’t win enough games to reach a bowl game, Coach Prime believes if…
The Dallas Cowboys are entering one of the most pivotal seasons in recent franchise history. After three-straight regular seasons where Dallas finished with 12 wins, Dak Prescott and company have continued to choke in the playoffs despite having one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. After the Cowboys fell to the Packers in a surprise upset in the Wildcard Round last year, there was a general sentiment amongst NFL insiders that Jerry Jones might blow the whole thing up. Instead, he decided to ride with Mike McCarthy — who is entering the final year of his contract —…
The college football world was mourning on Sunday when the news broke that one of the legends in the history of the sport passed away over the weekend. Former Pittsburgh Panthers star Bobby Grier, a pivotal figure in college football history, passed away recently, the program confirmed this weekend. Grier, a Massillon, Ohio native, died on June 30 at the age of 91. A fullback and linebacker, he suited up for the Panthers from 1953-55. Grier became a trailblazer in his senior season, when he broke the color line at the Sugar Bowl against Georgia Tech, becoming the first African-American…
The New England Patriots are entering their first real season with the cloud that overshadowed the franchise’s incredible dynasty now lifted. Sure, Tom Brady leaving for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and winning a seventh Super Bowl was the first major step in a full-fledged rebuild for a team that reached the playoffs every season from 2001 to 2019. During that period Bill Belichick led the Patriots to nine Super Bowls, winning six of them. For nearly two full decades, the New England Patriots were the most unstoppable, dominant franchise in the NFL, year after year without fail. But while Brady…
