This past Saturday, the Michigan State Spartans football team absolutely dismantled the Akron Zips. The Spartans earned a captivating 52 – 0 victory, despite some underwhelming Quarter Back play. However, Michigan State’s top tier Running Backs, Jalen Berger and Jarek Broussard, ran rampant on the Akron defense from start to finish. Combined, the pair of star ball carriers ran for nearly 200 yards, while adding 5 rushing touchdowns to the team’s total. Last season, Michigan State surprised a lot of people with how much success they had on the football field.  The Spartans ended the year with an 11-2 record, while going undefeated at home. Although Quarterback Payton Thorne had a very good year, Michigan State would not have had the stunning season they did without superstar Running Back Kenneth Walker III.
