The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the most popular teams in the NFL. As back-to-back Super Bowl Champions, this is not much of a surprise. When they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII last month, a record 210 million people tuned in to watch. With two-time NFL MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes under center, the promise is there for Kansas City to be relevant for a long time, especially if the Chiefs continue to add quality wide receivers around him. Currently, however, their surge in popularity is the result of something else entirely. Travis Kelce Dating Taylor…

The Dallas Cowboys are going to be one of the most-watched teams in the NFL this season. While their popularity undoubtedly is spread throughout the country, they will be under the proverbial microscope for reasons outside of generally being liked: will they finally get passed the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs? Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn left to become the head coach of division rival Washington Commanders. To replace him, head coach Mike McCarthy hired his formal rival in the NFC North, Mike Zimmer, who coached the Minnesota Vikings at the same time McCarthy was coaching the Green Bay Packers.…

For the second time in five years, the San Francisco 49ers lost the Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite leading for most of the game and scoring first (on a field goal) in overtime, the 49ers defense was unable to stop Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense when it mattered the most. Kansas City marched down the field at will in overtime and scored the game-winning touchdown, seemingly with ease. As a result, head coach Kyle Shanahan made the decision to fire defensive coordinator Steve Wilks. Despite San Francisco having the third-best scoring defense in the NFL, allowing…

The Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl Champions. For the first time since Tom Brady and the New England Patriots won back-to-back titles in 2003-04, the NFL has a team that could become just the second franchise ever to win three consecutive championships. The Green Bay Packers accomplished the feat twice (1929-1931 and 1965-67). The win also catapulted several members of the Chiefs team into rare company in NFL history. Patrick Mahomes became just the ninth quarterback ever to win at least three Championship games. Andy Reid became just the fifth NFL head coach to win three Super Bowls.…

The 2022 New York Jets ended their season 7-10, dead last in the AFC East. Despite brilliant rookie seasons from wide receiver Garrett Wilson, running back Breece Hall (though it was cut short by injury), and cornerback Sauce Gardner, the Jets could not figure out how to win consistently. A big part of the issue, they felt, was that 2021 second overall pick Zach Wilson was not ready to be a starting quarterback. The solution, in their opinion, was to go out and get a veteran quarterback who could mentor Wilson for a couple of years. They had tried it…
