The Cleveland Browns ensured that their position for quarterback was secured. They secured three “quarterback-ups” for this upcoming season. Awaiting final news on the ruling from the NFL, on Deshaun Watson, the Browns took no chances in securing quarterbacks for their upcoming season. The Browns signed four-year veteran quarterback, Josh Rosen, per the teams website, Clevelandbrowns.com. Jacoby Brissett and former Steelers quarterback Joshua Dobbs were also recruited. Ironically, in 2018, Josh Rosen could have been drafted by the Browns as the Number One overall pick. Instead the Browns decided on Baker Mayfield. On Friday, the multi-talented defensive lineman, Kelze Howard, committed to Oregon State for the position of defensive lineman. Howard, was the former defensive lineman for Spring Valley High School in Las Vegas. He has competed as a basketball player, wrestler, track athlete and, of course, football player. Howard became one of the nation’s top football recruits this spring, due to his amazing plays over the season. Howard was approached by several universities who wanted to the young athlete to participate in their programs. Those universities include Arizona, Nebraska and Utah. Alex Smith, the talented, former NFL Quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Commanders (formerly known as the Washington Redskins), gave us a private look into his six-year-old daughter, Sloane’s diagnosis of a brain tumor. On May 10th the former Quarterback’s daughter was rushed to the ER, after stroke-like symptoms. An MRI was administered. Sloane’s family was told that a large brain tumor had been discovered.
