Georgia Bulldogs Handle Tennessee’s Top-Rated Offense The Georgia Bulldogs handle the Tennessee Volunteers top-rated offense with no issues this past Saturday en route to a 27-13 win between the hedges. Tennessee came into the game averaging 50 points on offense and Georgia averaged only giving up 10 points a contest. Georgia started out fast but did fumble the ball on their first possession, which was there only real hiccup the entire game. Is Georgia just that good above all the other teams, or is Tennessee just play subpar teams and just look dominant? Well, yes and no. Georgia is just…

Falcons Win Rare High Scoring Game Falcons (4-4) win rare type of game that propelled them in sole procession of first place by one game in the NFC South. This game versus the Carolina Panthers (2-6) was slated to be a low scoring defensive game, but that was not the case. The Falcons pulled off the high scoring slugfest by kicking a field goal with two minutes left in overtime to win 37-34. Both teams had the opportunity to win during regulation, but mistakes helped not secure the win for either team. It seemed that which team had the ball…

Georgia back on top of the polls after their sixth win of the season beating Auburn 42-10 last Saturday afternoon in Athens. As in most games, except for the game one win versus Oregon, the Bulldogs have started games sluggish. The game versus the Auburn Tigers was no different, but the team put it all together scoring an additional 28 points in the second half. Game Notes Versus Auburn Georgia’s defense stepped up big against an Auburn Tigers offense that has had a hard time sustaining drives this season. Georgia’s defense caused three punts on Auburn’s first three offensive drives.…

Patterson Placed on Injured Reserve Monday Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson was placed on injured reserve Monday with a knee injury following the Falcons 26-22 win over the Cleveland Browns. He came into last Sunday’s game as the third leading rusher in the NFL  with 312 total yards behind Cleveland Browns Nick Chubb and New York Giants Saquon Barkley. Patterson had one touchdown and 39 yards rushing in limited play in the win against the Cleveland Browns last Sunday. That means he is going to be out at least the next four games and could return November 6 when the Los…

It was a tough Saturday night in Columbia, MO as the Bulldogs win, but drop in the polls. The game didn’t start off well as the Bulldogs found themselves 10 points behind in the first quarter, which is rare for Georgia teams unless they are playing Alabama. This Georgia offense is suppose to be a better offense than last year, and in the previous three games they have been. But as you hear around college football, it is tough to play in the SEC, no matter who you are playing. Saturday night was no different as Georgia didn’t bring their…

There were a lot of good and bad between the hedges last Saturday. Georgia’s football team is human after all as they defeated Kent State 39-22. Kent State had nothing to prove because they are a tough team from the Mid-American conference. Kent State scored 62 the previous week against Long Island University in a 62-10 riot. The Golden Flash had everything going for them, and was hoping for the shocker. They could get the win plus the money. But in this game, they just got the money, and not the (W). That’s ok, this is a team that gives…

When the Atlanta Falcons play a football game, they can’t  make it look easy even when they win. Fans can have a heart attack watching this team play. This past Sunday was no different as the team beat the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle by intercepting Quarterback Geno Smith late with 1:12 left on the clock to secure the 27-23 victory. The Falcons do not usually win these type of games. Over the years since I have been a fan of this team that dates back to the late 70’s, this team can’t finish a game, or they come up short…

Georgia Bulldogs Quarterback Stetson Bennett still goes into games with that chip on his shoulder trying to prove that he is an elite quarterback. He was far from anyone’s mind that he would be the quarterback to bring Georgia their next National Championship since the win over Notre Dame in 1980. That rested on the hands of transfer JT Daniels last year, but he couldn’t stay on the field due to injury and Bennett took advantage of his opportunity…again!!! Daniels is currently 1-2 starting for West Virginia while Bennett is now a national champion plus in consideration for a Heisman.…
