NFL PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK For week two, the NFL Performance of the Week goes to Miami Dolphins trio – Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill & Jaylen Waddle. The on field performance, which we will dive into, was undeniably incredible. However, the fact that the lofty (and to some unrealistic) expectations the trio had put in front of them are being met so soon is even more admirable. You have to throw a bone to Head Coach Mike McDaniel here as well. The 2nd half play calling was absolutely beautiful. Even still, the difficulty level of the throws and catches that…

NFL OFFENSIVE LINE OF THE WEEK The Miami Dolphins are the – NFL Offensive Line Of The Week. The Dolphins OL group has been one of the more unstable and maligned over the last 3 years of football. There’s no need to rehash all the terrible statistics & crazy metrics, but by all accounts they were a historical bad group. However, through time, free agency & a new coaching staff this group seems to be making serious strides. Other than one first half drive, where there were 3 consecutive MA’s (missed assignments) this group was a rock solid as you…

NFL OL Of The Week (Week 1) My best NFL OL of week 1 is the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs racked up nearly 500 yards of offense and scored 44 points in their season opener. 360 yards through the air on 39 attempts. 128 yards on the ground on 27 attempts. That production at this level, especially in week one, is far past anything you could’ve asked for as a coaching staff & fanbase. The most impressive part, which we will get into later, is the balance and versatility in which the hogs up front allow for the Chiefs…

1. Justin Herbert: In the first two years of an NFL career, no quarterback has thrown for more yards or touchdowns than Justin Herbert. In 2021, Herbert finished top three in yards, touchdowns, & QBR. He also led the Chargers to 4th in total offense. The fact that the Chargers have spent like a franchise that believes they have the best player in football says a lot. Star wide receivers Kenan Allen and Mike Williams are back. The additions of rookie offensive linemen Zion Johnson and Jamaree Salyer sored up the offensive line. Backs added include Isaiah Spiller and Sony…

NFL SKILL GROUP RANKINGS 2022 The NFL is loaded with talent at wide receiver and running back. Tight end is a bit more cut and dry at the very top, but still very competitive. Instead of solely doing an individual position list for those groups, I think it’s more compelling to jump into the skill groupings as a whole. In an NFL where more points are being scored than ever before, you would expect the personnel groupings to be extremely deep and versatile. You’d be correct.  Here are the NFL Skill Group Rankings 2022. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Coming off of…

Zion Webb Named Jacksonville State Starting QB After a long battle over the course of the offseason, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks have finally named a starting quarterback. Head Coach Rich Rodriguez tabs 5th year senior Zion Webb as the Gamecocks starter. Fan favorite Webb beat out NC State transfer Aaron McLaughlin for the starting spot. Although a newly named starter, Webb is no stranger to the Gamecock faithful. This will be Webb’s 4th season seeing time as a starter for Jacksonville State. In 2020, Webb was named 1st team All-OVC for his stellar play. Furthermore, he also led the Gamecocks…

Cowboys LT Tyron Smith Out IndefinitelyDallas Cowboys franchise mainstay Tyron Smith is out indefinitely with an avulsion fracture to the left knee. That means the hamstring tendon behind his knee pulled off the bone it’s attached to. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Smith will need surgery & be out until December. Smith is a 4x All-Pro, 8x Pro Bowler and a member of the 2010’s NFL All-Decade Team. Simply put, he’s as decorated as any lineman to ever play the game. Quietly, over the last three seasons, the Cowboys have gone from being the best offensive line in football to…
