The Steelers offensive line has looked rough this preseason. There were at times flashes of improvement, but it’s very uncertain. I thought it would be fun to take a look at the bottom three teams in the league who may be willing to move on from a guy. It’s not likely the Steelers make a huge splash move but they have been known to make some last minute trades. Houston Texans The Texans have been a terrible franchise the last few years. Ever since the departure of O’brien and Deshaun Watsons allegations they have been on a downward spiral. I…

With the deadline in 10 minutes of this article being written the Pittsburgh Steelers have made a lot of moves. Some moves are much more surprising than others, lets go over the ones I found surprising. You can get a live feed update on all moves from every team in the NFL here. Elijah Riley The Pittsburgh Steelers just signed Riley this week. It is very surprising to see him cut this quick with Damontae Kazee being injured. Kazee is undergoing wrist surgery and will head to the IR and likely miss the first 5-6 weeks. The Steelers were rolling…

The Steelers had a big need for depth behind TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith. With uncertainty around guys like Hamilcar Rashed and Derek Tuszka there was a glaring hole. With Rashed being cut today prior to the deadline the Steelers made their move. The Steelers sent a 6th round pick to the Denver Broncos for Malik Reed and a 7th round pick. Malik Reed Reed was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Broncos in 2019. He was quickly thrusted into starting for the Broncos and has been pretty solid racking up 15 sacks. He set a career high…

The season is almost here, its the best time of the year! The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Bengals week one of the regular season. Game time is 9/11 at 1:00 PM EST in Cincinnati. With that being said it’s time for some bold predictions! Pittsburgh Steelers Defense Will Be Top 10 With super-stars like Watt, Heyward and Minkah Fitzpatrick its hard to imagine the Steelers not always being top two in the league. Fact is the Steelers have had multiple significant injuries over the last few years and at times a lack of depth. I have no reason to…

A new face is taking first team reps for the Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker spot. It’s not Genard Avery, who was recently released due to “Not being a fit” per Gerry Dulac who was quoted on Steelers Depot. The new face is Hamilcar Rashed. He is taking the first team reps in practice and will be the starter against the Lions this week. Who Is Hamilcar Rashed? Coming out of Oregon State University he was a undrafted free agent who signed with the Jets. With limited playing time he did not get much opportunity to showcase his ability.  Tomlin went…

The final preseason game for the Pittsburgh Steelers will be against the Lions this Sunday. With a few big position battles this week against the Lions. Starters will be determined for week one against the Bengals. There is a lot of buzz about Mason Rudolph having trade interest. Could this to be their front row seat to determine if they make a push to get him? Two Position Battles The quarterbacks position is said to be a three man battle. As the preseason goes on and I hear coach Mike Tomlin speak, it sounds like its only a two man…

Isaiahh Loudermilk was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers 156th overall in the 2021 draft out of Wisconsin. He was viewed by many as a project guy who would go undrafted and likely be the highest sought after undrafted free agent. The Steelers liked what they saw in his ability and did not want to leave it to chance. They traded back in the draft giving up a 4th round pick in order to get him Isaiahh Loudermilk Rookie Season As mentioned above he really was considered a project guy to be groomed with very little immediate expectations. Little did anyone…

Ben Roethlisberger in my eyes is the best Steelers quarterback of all time. He holds virtually every Steelers passing record and also holds some NFL record that still stand. There is no doubt he should be a first ballot hall of fame and deserves to be in Canton. He made an appearance in practice with the Steelers today. Ben Roethlisberger Is Back Big Ben is at practice. The first time he is there as a fan not the franchise quarterback. There are clips going around of Ben on the field talking to and joking around with his ex teammates. He…

We are rapidly approaching the start of the NFL season and the final cuts down to the 53 man roster. The Pittsburgh Steelers have the most depth at the wide receiver position more so than any other position. One guy on my radar to see what happens, is Steven Sims. You can find his Fox Sports profile here. I hope the Steelers keep him in town because the guy has big play potential every snap. Steven Sims Journey Sims was an undrafted free agent coming out of Kansas and signed with the Washington Commanders. He had a decent rookie year…
