With the NFL 2022 season about to kick off, it is interesting to look back at the history of the helmet, while preparing for the future season. Flannel and hair In the 1800’s, players grew their hair long to protect their heads from damage. Maybe that was Alex Anzalone’s thought. Jamal Adam’s Seattle Seahawk’s 2022 Training Camp injury had me wondering, haven’t the Seahawks hands been through enough? Russell Wilson, week five, mallet finger. The Seattle Seahawks have been busy signing contracts recently – especially the one-day kind. Both K.J. Wright and J.R. Sweezy retired this week with the Seattle Seahawks, returning home after playing for other teams.
