In the Eagles vs Cowboys Christmas Eve battle for seeding amongst division rivals, all cards were on the table, save the Hurts card. All the Eagles had to do was win one of their last three games to secure the first seed in the division and conference. They will have to wait at least one more week for that to happen. Expectations were being met and maybe even surpassed for the Eagles in the first quarter. They already had a 3-0 lead. Dak Prescott then threw a pick six to give them a 10-0 lead. https://twitter.com/BarstoolPhilly/status/1606766106177568769 Into the arms of…

A makeup call happens when a referee calls a penalty they regret, then later calls a penalty on the opposing team to make up for it. Makeup calls have unofficially existed in sports for decades. At the highest levels, the assumption is they’re less frequently used. Are these calls just a figment of the disgusted viewer’s imagination? They certainly have a bad reputation, and there will always be skeptics. Mutterings about a makeup call affecting last year’s Super Bowl led to articles being written about it. There have been officials who tried to sue reporters ultimately because of makeup calls.…

Jerry Jones’s interview on 105.3 The Fan revealed some details tying the St. Louis baseball Cardinals to the Dallas Cowboys that people may not have been privy to. Which is about the answer one might get from anybody. But it’s nice to see that his booming wealth hasn’t dissolved his rationale. His answer unbundled further memories from long, long ago.
