Back in January, a Steelers era defined by consistent playoff contention and an overall winning culture, came to an end. Franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger officialy decided to hang up the cleats. Big Ben’s retirement was anticipated in the league, as his performance began to drop off in his older age. Granted, he could still have freak games in which he’d throw for 500+ yards (see Wild Card Round 2021). Unfortunately, his inconsistency began to show he didn’t have much left in the tank. Experience, or in this case, lack thereof. Colts Projected Receiving Corps With two weeks remaining until the start of training camp, the Colts are…

In 2020, the San Francisco 49er’s shocked the NFL world in trading their All-Pro defensive tackle, DeForest Buckner, to the Indianapolis Colts. A Colts team desperate for an upgrade at nose tackle shipped off their 2020 first round pick (No. 13 overall) for Buckner in the hopes that he would significantly bolster an underwhelming defensive front. Since that trade, DeForest Buckner has been one of the best performing defensive tackles in the league, leading the Colts in sacks in his two years there. However, one has to wonder what it means if your nose tackle is consistently putting up more…
