Friday nights conference match-up between the UCLA Bruins and Washington Huskies has high potential. Both teams are coming off dominant performances. UCLA easily toppled Colorado 45-17 while the Huskies offense crushed Stanford 40-22. Without a doubt this will be the Bruins toughest opponent yet. At 4-0, both teams are off to their best start in years. The dawgs haven’t had a 4-0 start since 2017 and UCLA’s last was in 2015. This contest will pin two top 20 offenses against each other in what is expected to be a high scoring game. After watching the Huskies dominate last week, I’m…

Atlanta finally gets in the win column as the Seahawks fall to 1-2 in a rather exciting game in Seattle. In a game that most people probably overlooked this week, the Falcons and Seahawks slugged it out with the Falcons coming out on top 27-23. Both offenses looked well prepared for this game as they combined for over 800 total yards. Geno Smith and the Seahawks offense finally got going as they tallied more points this game than they have all season. The Falcons meanwhile looked fairly similar to how they did in their first two contests just without blowing…

The Washington Huskies dominated Stanford Saturday night in their conference opener. They took control from the opening drive and never looked back. A big part of their success was the defensive line, providing six sacks in the first half alone. On the opposite side of the ball, Washington’s  offensive line also had a huge game. They didn’t let up a single sack all night. Not only was Stanford getting beat up front, but they also had some costly turnovers. An interception in the redzone and two fumbles on their side of the field let to seventeen Husky points. Dawgs D…

Sunday afternoon the Seahawks vs Falcons game will be a tough one to watch. Although Seattle has the better record, the Falcons have looked much better early on the season. After beating Russell Wilson in his return to Seattle, the Seahawks’ offense didn’t score a single point against San Francisco. That leaves them at 29th in the league in scoring whereas the falcons are top ten in that department. Although the Falcons are 0-2, they’ve looked much better than that record shows. Yes they collapsed in their season opener against the Saints and blew a good chance at a win…

Thursday nights battle for the Black Diamond Trophy ended with a 33-10 Mountaineer victory. This historic rivalry dating back to 1912 went West Virginia’s way as they improved their head to head record with the Hokies to 30-23-1. As stated in the preview to this game, the Hokies offense struggled once again to score points. While the Mountaineers offense wasn’t as productive as it has been this season, their defense stepped up big in this game. They held the Hokies offense to less than 200 yards passing and an abysmal 35 yards on the ground. Another cause of concern for…
