We went 3-1 last week, and stand a very profitable 5-1-2 on the season, so let’s get started with the best bets for Week 6 in college football…. Five weeks into the 2022 season and I’m still only sure about two things: 1) One of the three amongst Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State will win the national championship, and 2) I am going to keep making you some money if you follow my picks! Each Friday, I post my Wells’ Winners. You can decide how you want to thank me, but I do accept gratitude in form of bourbon and…

The Red Raiders will play their fifth straight game against an AP Top 25 ranked opponent this weekend, as they go on the road to Stillwater and face Mike Gundy’s 7th-ranked Cowboys.  The Pokes are coming off an impressive win in Waco, and will have an opportunity to stay atop the Big 12 standings with a win against Joey McGuire’s squad.  Here’s what to watch for: Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State edition. Watch For: Will the final look more like a basketball or football score? The last 10 contests average over 78 points combined, with four games going over 86.…

Four weeks into the 2022 season and I’m sure about only two things: 1) Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State are all really good.  Outside of those three, I’m not convinced of anything else, and 2) I am going to make you some money if you follow my picks. Each Friday, I post my Wells’ Winners. You can decide how you want to thank me, but I do accept gratitude in forms of bourbon and cigars. We went 2-0-2 last weekend, so let’s get started with the best bets for Week 5 in college football…. (All lines are accurate as of…

Coming off back-to-back wins over AP Top 13 teams, the Aggies travel to StarkVegas this weekend for a matchup against Mike Leach and the Bulldogs. Saturday afternoon at Davis Wade Stadium, it’s #17 Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State, and here are 3 things to watch for from the Aggies. Replacing Agent Zero The Aggies lost punt returner/running back/leading receiver Ainias Smith last weekend, and it hurts.  There’s no way around that. The senior is an undoubted leader in the locker room and on the field, and his skillset is not one that any single other player can replace. The abundance…

Aggies Earn Huge SEC Win I learned a lot from this year’s Southwest Classic. But here are the 3 things I learned the most from Texas A&M’s win over Arkansas. A&M Is Still A Mess… The Aggies committed nine penalties, with some of them being absolutely stupid ones at the worst possible time. They couldn’t get formations right, nor could they refrain from illegal blocks downfield. A&M still can’t throw the ball, and they were playing the worst-ranked pass defense in the country. Aggie QB Max Johnson managed the game as best he could, but was only 11-for-21 for 151…

The Southwest Classic matchup of the Arkansas Razorbacks vs. the Texas A&M Aggies is one of the weekend’s most intriguing matchups, and should give some answers on which program is closer to challenging Alabama for the SEC West crown. Will the Razorbacks’ moveable object (defense) hold off the Aggies’ stoppable force (offense), or can A&M get their talent to match expectations and hold off the Hogs winning for the second consecutive year? The game itself, however, may look and sound like a performance car stuck in first gear. You know, where it looks flashy and impresses you when it rolls…

After arguably the Aggies’ worst loss in the modern era, Jimbo Fisher is officially on the hot seat at Texas A&M. Make no mistake about it, Jimbo Fisher is close. Close to losing his team, his supporters, and the Aggie Network altogether. In front of over 92,000 fans, potential SEC title-contender Texas A&M losing as an 18-point favorite to a team that was predicted to finish second in the Sun Belt Conference falls entirely on the head coach. Now, his surely expensive leather chair is hotter than a Texas summer. After giving up 63 points at home last week to…
