WR Isaiah Neyor One of the biggest pulls out of the portal this offseason for Texas was WR Isaiah Neyor. Neyor is a big bodied WR who was literally a one man passing attack at Wyoming. He projects to be the number two outside receiver this season, so he has a chance to prove his talent. Texas fans saw what he was capable of in the spring game. He caught a long 60+ yard TD from Quinn Ewers. Neyor is going to live above the rim and down the field for the Longhorns. If the Texas QBs are willing to…

WR Agiye Hall Perhaps one of the biggest future needle movers amongst the 2021 transfers is WR Agiye Hall. Hall was a highly rated recruit, and is now at Texas. Hall was esteemed for his size and speed. Both things that will allow him to flourish at Texas. If Hall lives up to his recruiting ranking, the Texas WR corps will be the tops in America, because it is just that talented. High School and Recruiting Agiye Hall was rated as the number 5 WR in his class, and 45th player overall. He just missed five-star status, but was a…

WR Jordan Whittington Jordan Whittington so far has been one of the biggest “what ifs” in school history. Every time he is on the field he is very productive, but he just cannot seem to stay healthy. A full season of Jordan Whittington would force a lot of people around America to learn his name, because it would be a season full of highlights. Whittington has kind of been a forgotten man this offseason amongst non diehard fans, mostly due to the Worthy breakout, and the acquisition of Agiye Hall and Isaiah Neyor. However, Whittington is going to be a…

WR Xavier Worthy What do we expect out of Xavier Worthy in 2022? Xavier Worthy broke onto the scene last season and established himself as a top WR in the country. He proved to be versatile by being able to take the top off a defense, and work short routes and screens taking them for touchdowns. Texas’ fans knew what was up after a three TD performance against TTU, and 200 yards against OU. Worthy posted 62 catches for 981 yards and 12 TDs as a freshman, showcasing his game breaking ability from early on. He is primed to have…

RB Keilan Robinson Keilan Robinson is the firecracker of this RB room. Last year against Rice he showed just how ridiculously fast he is on a huge TD run. His type of speed is impossible to game plan for and can be game breaking in an instant. One man gets out of his gap, and Robinson can bust it. He is another guy that could probably start at a lot of schools, but is buried underneath some supremely talented teammates. Most of the fanbase believes and wants to see more of him. Hopefully in 2022 that can be in-store.  High…

RB Roschon Johnson Roschon Johnson is the gear that keeps this Texas team going. Any time someone is asked who the leader of the team is, the name Roschon Johnson is quickly mentioned. He isn’t just a leader off the field though, he is a phenomenal player on the field. He has a chance to play himself into draftable territory, if he hasn’t already. High School and Recruiting Roschon Johnson was ranked as the number six dual threat QB in his 2019 class. No, that is not a typo, he was a QB, and a good one. He finished his…

RB Bijan Robinson Bijan Robinson has been the pride and joy of the University of Texas fan base since the school received his commitment in 2020. Coach Sark always says that Bijan is a great player, but he is an even better person. I’ve never met him off the field, but I know what he can do on the field, and it’s elite. Expect a huge season out of Bijan in 2022, and expect to hear his name in the Heisman Trophy conversation. High School and Recruiting Coming out of high school Bijan was the crown jewel of his RB…

QB Hudson Card: Last season Hudson Card had his ups and downs. Against Louisiana in week one Card looked decent, but followed it up with three quarters of looking lost against Arkansas. He lost the starting job that week against Arkansas, giving it up to Casey Thompson. Card did come back later in the season and looked impressive against WVU. Card has some good tools to succeed at this level, so what are they, and where will this season take him? High School and Recruiting: Hudson Card was a high four star QB ranked one spot below reigning Heisman winner…

QB Quinn Ewers This offseason Texas received a huge commitment out of the transfer portal in QB Quinn Ewers. Quinn Ewers was the second 1.000 rated recruit in the history of modern recruiting. He initially committed to Texas and Coach Tom Herman, but backed out and headed to Ryan Day at Ohio State. He then reclassified and got on campus in what should have been his senior year of high school. Quinn didn’t play but a couple snaps at OSU, and he never threw a pass. So what does Quinn bring to the table and why was he so heralded…

Every year opposing fanbases have to hear about how the University of Texas is back. Whether it be the new coach, the young up and coming stud you’ve never heard of, or the last season where they almost won something, it never fails. However, this season things for real feel different. Coach Steve Sarkisian has flipped the roster upside down, and for the better. In this piece the offensive talent will be addressed, and I will give my outlook to how the 2022 Texas offense will look on field. 2021 Season: To start, last year the Texas offense was above…
