Veteran NFL Defensive Back Jason McCourty has announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons. McCourty had not signed a new deal after finishing his contract with the Dolphins. He played as a cornerback for the majority of his career until last year, playing as a Free Safety for the Dolphins. After playing 13 seasons Mccourty walks away from the game with one Super Bowl ring he won with the Patriots. Florida State University revealed their 2022 Athletics Hall of Fame class Thursday. Among the 11 future members are two Wide Receivers. The first is E.G. Green who played for the Seminoles from 1993 to 1997. The second is Snoop Minnis who played from 1997 to 2000. Both players were a step above the rest during their careers at FSU. The starting spot is not promised to Baker as many thought. The Carolina Panthers recently acquired Baker Mayfield for a 2024 5th (which may become 4th) round Draft pick.
