The air bracing, the leaves beginning to turn a deep yellow, the sun still providing that last glimpse of summer…but something is not right in Pittsburgh. There’s an eerie feeling around the Steel City. Almost as if everyone is walking around without a purpose. When the Steelers aren’t winning, it throws all of the fans off their equilibriums. It may sound silly, but Steeler fans are that used to winning. Now, this could be an article about how atrocious the Steelers offense has looked through three games. Perhaps it could be about public enemy #1 (Matt Canada). Yet, you know all…

A matchup that used to see Tom Brady go up against Ben Roethlisberger has faded away, and the new era for both teams is here. The Patriots hold a 9-4 record vs the Steelers since the year 2000. Additionally, several playoff games went the Patriots way as well. There is no doubt that the Patriots (With Tom Brady)  had the Steelers number in the 21st century. The new question is, where does this matchup stand now? The Pats are coming off of a very slow and lackluster performance in a 20-7 defeat to the Miami Dolphins last week. The…

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 on Sunday in a game that was as crazy as a soup sandwich. If you missed it, the Steelers sneaked away with a Chris Boswell 53 yard game winning field goal as time expired in overtime. This game was chaotic even prior to overtime. The Steelers had a chance to run out the clock after stopping the Bengals on 4th and goal. They failed to do so and punted the ball back to Cincinnati, allowing Joe Burrow to find Jamar Chase for an easy touchdown with 2 seconds left. This was…

Let’s get right to it, shall we? The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in both games last season. The Bengals also won the game before that in 2020, so they’re going for four wins in a row vs the Steelers this Sunday. Those two games last season weren’t close either. With the Bengals taking the game in Pittsburgh 24-10, and the game in Cincinnati 41-10. So, as hungry as the Bengals may be after losing Super Bowl LVI to the Los Angeles Rams… the Steelers are ravenous. That said, we’ll see if the hungry dog runs faster at 1…

Less than 3 seconds. That is how much time on average NFL quarterbacks have to drop back and complete a pass before being pummeled. The Steeler’s quarterbacks averaged the quickest release time last season with an average of 2.2 seconds. As a result, the Steelers were also bottom half of the league in yards per attempt. That was of course with the immobile giant Ben Roethlisberger at the helm. Now, the Steelers have mobility and speed at QB with two young guns. A young and inexperienced offensive line last year for the was looking to gel together this offseason. Guys…

Pittsburgh fans definitely want the story to be about Kenny Pickett this season. Maybe you are one of those people that want to see TJ Watt win defensive player of the year again. The Browns are still the Browns. What does this mean you ask? It means that they are bad, still.
