The Los Angeles Chargers and Derwin James are currently in the process of ongoing contract negotiations that have resulted in the pro bowl safety holding out of training camp. The last year was a tumultuous one for the Oregon Ducks. The Ducks come off of an up and down 10-4 2021 campaign that included a win in Columbus over Ohio State and humiliating blowout losses to Oklahoma and Utah.
