The Tennessee Titans might have caught a huge break for their defense ahead of their Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Titans are trying to right the ship after losing to the New Orleans Saints in Week 1.
The Chargers suffered more damage than their 0-1 record after losing to the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. Star running back Austin Ekeler suffered an ankle injury in the loss. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The Chargers revealed a bleak update for Ekeler’s chances in Week 2 against the Titans.
Austin Ekeler is doubtful to play for the Los Angeles Chargers
According to the Week 2 injury report released Friday, the Chargers listed Ekeler as doubtful after missing Friday’s practice. Another injury to note: Joey Bosa is questionable with a hamstring. Bosa was limited in practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday.

The lack of progress on the injury report is troubling for Ekeler this week and for the future. We’ll see how the Chargers offense is affected without Ekeler if he cannot play Sunday.
