The 2024 Auburn football season has been a disaster. A once proud SEC power, the Auburn Tigers have lost four straight games, are 2-5 on the season and are eyeing their fourth straight losing season. With this year all but lost in Auburn, Alabama, many of the team’s diehard fans have resorted to an SEC pastime: hate-watching. With the SEC squad losing a heartbreaker 21-17 last Saturday against the then-No.19 ranked Missouri Tigers, many of the Auburn faithful tuned into an evening clash between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Tennessee Volunteers.
Auburn football’s archrival, Alabama, fell apart late, losing 24-17 to Tennessee in Knoxville, marking the first time the program suffered two losses before November in nearly two decades. Still, with Auburn likely fighting the losing battle of bowl eligibility, one Tigers fan took it upon himself to take a shot at Alabama post-loss, igniting many within their fanbase.
Auburn Football Fan Mocks Anti-Crimson Tide Shirt
According to one Auburn football fan who could be classified as the Alabama Crimson Tide’s top hater:

In a viral tweet, Auburn football fan “Auburn Alan” mocked up a shirt reading L.A.N.K., the slogan coined by Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe, which stands for Let A Naysayer Know. However, in Alan’s version, the acronym stands for “Lost at Nashville & Knoxville,” referencing their losses on the road against the Vanderbilt Commodores and Tennessee Volunteers.
Last weekend, while nursing a double-digit lead, Tennessee scored ten unanswered en route to a 24-17 win. In the final moments, Milroe, the quarterback for Alabama, tossed the game-sealing interception. Three weekends prior, the Crimson Tide surrendered an unprecedented 40 points in an upset loss to Vanderbilt. It was their first road loss against the Commodores in nearly half a century. Nevertheless, the Crimson Tide devotees quickly went on the attack following “Auburn Alan’s” post:
