The joint practice between the Atlanta Falcons and the Miami Dolphins ended early Wednesday due to a devastating injury that resulted in Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore heading to a nearby medical facility.
An air cast was used on Atlanta Falcons WR Rondale Moore
Moore suffered an injury to his right leg that was severe enough for the medical staff to put an air cast on his leg before carting him off the field and transporting him to a nearby medical facility.
The injury was so severe that it had players down on a knee praying and awaiting news on Moore’s status. It was enough for the coaches to put an end to the entire practice.
Heartbreaking: #Falcons Rondale Moore was just stretcher off the field & is being rushed to a medical facility, with an apparent serious injury.

Rondale Moore could’ve been a solid piece of the Atlanta Falcons offense
The 2024 season would’ve been Moore’s first with the Falcons as he was previously a part of the Arizona Cardinals squad. The shifty Purdue Boilermakers product racked up over 350 yards and 40 receptions for the Cardinals in 2023.
Moore has yet to start more than eight games in a season, but a new offense with a new head coach and a new quarterback could’ve provided a path for him to blossom like the shifty, explosive receiver he was when he played for Purdue.
In an article from AZ Central, Moore’s trainer Chirs Vaughn explained what makes Moore such a valuable receiver.
“Once he gets the ball in his hands, he’s electric and his natural gifts take over,” Vaughn said. “Creating that separation is gonna allow him that half a second that he can go put his foot in the ground and make a move and set people up and do what he’s gifted with.”
Fans and teammates are sending best wishes to Atlanta Falcons WR Rondale Moore
Even if their relationship is steeped in rivalry, the majority of NFL fans hate to see season-ending injuries. Especially when those injuries occur before teams get to play a real regular season game.
Upon hearing the news of the devastating injury suffered by Moore, many fans and teammates took to social media to send their best wishes Moore’s way.
