NFL Fans Erupt Over Heisman Hopeful Ashton Jeanty’s ‘Perfect’ NFL Landing Spot

NFL fans are all talking about the best running back in college footballAshton Jeanty, after he named the perfect team that he’d want to be drafted by. Jeanty, the Heisman contender, is finishing off one of the best seasons in college football history at the running back position, and any NFL team that secures him will be happy. However, he has a specific team that in his mind would be the ‘perfect; landing spot.

Jeanty has truly been having a legendary year. In just 9 games so far, he has 1,734 rushing yards! The numbers are insane as to top that off he has 23 touchdowns, and both of those stats are leading the nation by a mile.

He is just 900 yards away from the single-season rushing record that Barry Sanders set, and he may very well have the ability to break that record. If he can get 5 more games this season, he should be able to eclipse the all-time record for rushing yards. He will need to average 180 yards a game the rest of the way if he wants to have the chance at history.

Jeanty should be a very high pick in the first round of the NFL Draft so a team will need to be all in on him, and Jeanty has the perfect team in mind to go play for. In a recent interview, the star running back was asked about his ideal fit for an NFL team, and he was candid that he wants the Dallas Cowboys to draft him:

“If I could script it? My family is all in Texas. With my family being there, all the connections, all the relationships, I feel like (Dallas) would be the perfect city to play in,” Jeanty said.

Everything is working out for Jeanty right now as the Cowboys keep losing games and should have a top pick for this upcoming draft. The Cowboys also are in desperate need of an elite running back as they are at the bottom of the NFL in rushing this season. It would be a match made in heaven to get Jenaty in the first round. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has always been one to make a huge splash in the draft and the stars are aligning for Ashton to be a Cowboy.

If the season ended today Dallas would have a great chance to get him at the 11th pick of the first round, and many mock drafts already have that pick set to be the elite running back. Dallas may continue to lose games and get into the top ten or even better by the time the season is over, so we will have to see if the team would trade back or take Jeanty at the top of the draft.

Jeanty has averaged 192.7 yards per game, and as mentioned above he has a real chance to break the all-time rushing record! If he does, Dallas may have many teams to compete with to get Ashton. It is awesome to hear that he has an ideal pick and that it is the Cowboys but we will have to wait and see where he falls in the 2025 draft.

Fans have all been taking to social media to speculate where the legendary back will end up. Do you think Jeanty will be a Cowboy?
