Arizona Cardinals’ standout rookie cornerback Will Johnson suffered a groin injury in Week 2, sidelining him for the past two games. The second-round pick participated in this week’s practice as a limited participant. The Cardinals officially listed Johnson as questionable, with plans to work him out during pre-game warm-ups to determine his fate for Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.

According to Ian Rapoport on Saturday night, Will Johnson is expected to play against the Tennessee Titans. The Cardinals released their inactive players listed a little while ago, which did not include the rookie sensation. Therefore, Johnson is back in the starting rotation after missing the previous two games with a groin injury.

However, a key starter will not play

Max Melton popped up on the injury report on Saturday with a hamstring injury, and the Cardinals downgraded him to questionable. Unfortunately, the second-round pick from the 2024 NFL Draft will miss the first game of his young NFL career. The plan is for fifth-round pick Denzel Burke to start in Melton’s absence.
