On Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals will embark on their 2024 season, traveling to Orchard Park to face the Buffalo Bills. Arizona enters the second year of the Monti Ossenfort-Jonathan Gannon era, with the two eager to put last season’s 4-13 record behind them. Ossenfort, the GM for Arizona, has done his homework this offseason, drafting Ohio State Buckeyes star wideout Marvin Harrison Jr., signing offensive tackle Justin Jones, and reaching a multi-year deal with defensive lineman Justin Jones. Ossenfort will be under the microscope of most Cardinals fans as the team tries to reclaim relevancy. Still, he added a critic on Thursday, with a former front office member announcing a new Arizona Cardinals-centric podcast.
On Thursday, former General Manager Steve Keim, known for his love of middle linebackers regardless of draft capital, will start a podcast centered around the Cardinals that will air three times a week. Nevertheless, Cardinals fans got a good chuckle when hearing the news that the team’s former GM would start a podcast about the team that he “stepped away” from in 2022.
Former Arizona Cardinals GM Steve Keim to Start Podcast on Former Employer

According to Arizona Cardinals insider Kyle Odegard:
Ex-GM Steve Keim will be analyzing the Cardinals on a thrice-weekly podcast this season.
Keim will join the Arizona Football Daily show with Mike Jurecki and Tim Ring, per Odegard. Readers can find the rest of Odegard’s story here at sportscasting.com, but the central premise of the podcast centers around analyzing the Cardinals and the NFL three days a week. Keim, who has worked with the Cardinals front office since 1999, will provide the show with ample guests, ranging from former NFL players and coaches to executives.
Keim operated as the team’s general manager from 2013 to 2022, earning NFL Executive of the Year in 2014. However, after three straight double-digit winning seasons, Arizona cratered to the basement of the NFC West, going 31-47 record from 2016 to 2020. Most notably, Keim and the Cardinals whiffed on multiple-round picks, including UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, who lasted just one season in the desert. Arizona also drafted Isaiah Simmons, Robert Nkemdiche, and Deone Bucannon, all of whom had uneventful careers with the Cardinals. Naturally, the Cardinals got a good laugh after hearing Keim would start his podcast breaking down the NFC West squad every week.
