The Arizona Cardinals hold the no. 3 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. After the blockbuster trade between the Panthers and Bears, the Cardinals hold a premium position. If a team is looking to get a quarterback, Arizona is the team to go to. According to a recent report, a surprise team is exploring a trade with the Cardinals for the no. 3 overall pick.

VERY INTERESTING: The Tennessee #Titans have been exploring options to trade up for the 3rd overall pick which is owned by the Arizona #Cardinals, per Daniel Jeremiah of @nflnetwork.

Arizona Cardinals No. 3 Overall Pick

The Tennessee Titans have started exploring trades with the Cardinals. Sitting at 11th overall currently, the package would have to be significant. However, the Titans could use a restart at the quarterback position. Ryan Tannehill isn’t getting any younger and the roster as a whole has entered into a little bit of a soft rebuild. This is the perfect opportunity to nab the quarterback of the future and start rebuilding from square one. For the Cardinals, they have so many holes that recouping draft capital would be a win for them.

    Slam Dunk For The Cardinals

Even if it isn’t the Titans, the Cardinals should trade out of this pick. They are in a win-win situation in my opinion. They do not need a quarterback currently as Kyler Murray is under contract. However, there are a lot of questions about him. If Murray is the quarterback of the future, then Arizona can use the draft capital to fill in the roster around him. If they somehow sour on Murray, the team will likely be awful and then they are in line for Caleb Willaims or Drake Maye and then also have the draft capital to put around them. Short term, the team is going to be awful but playing this right could set them up for success in the future.

The 2023 NFL draft is going to have no shortage of drama. This could be a draft where four quarterbacks are picked with the first four picks. All eyes are on Arizona and what they do with their pick.
