After winning just a total of eight wins in the last two seasons, the Arizona Cardinals could be in line for a strong campaign in 2024. That will largely depend on how well quarterback Kyler Murray will play. And for Cardinals tight end Trey McBride, who is coming off a breakout 2023 season, he won’t be surprised if Murray ends up winning the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player.
“This is the most confident I’ve seen him. This is the first year I’ve been fully healthy with him — he’s fully healthy — I think everything is trending the right way. He has a ton of weapons out there and I have full confidence that he’s capable of an MVP season.”
Murray suffered a serious injury midway through the 2022 season and he was not able to see action on the field in an NFL game until Week 10 of the following campaign. With Murray expected to be healthy to start the 2024 NFL season, McBride and the Cardinals are hoping that they will be able to seriously contend for a playoff spot after missing the boat to the postseason twice in a row.

Arizona Cardinals combo of Kyler Murray and Trey McBride could spell trouble for opponents in 2024

Murray and McBride could prove to be quite a tandem in 2024, McBride took a big leap forward in his second season in the NFL, as he led the Cardinals with 825 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 81 receptions in 2023. With first-round pick and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. added to the mix, Murray and the Cardinals have the potential to surprise everyone in 2024.
