The Ohio State Buckeyes have an 7-0 record to start the 2025 college football season. They are the number one ranked team in the country.

Last season, they had a 10-2 record and won the national title. Ohio State lost to the Michigan Wolverines last season, but that loss didn’t affect the program from winning it all. The Wolverines have beaten the Buckeyes the last four years and there are questions if head coach Ryan Day is finally going to lead this team to a victory against Michigan this season.
Ohio State Buckeyes AD Ross Bjork Weighs On Ryan Day’s Comments After Loss to the Michigan Wolverines Last Season

Buckeyes athletic director Ross Bjork spoke to Chris Low of on3.com to talk about the Buckeyes head coach response to losing the game against Michigan last season. Bjork said,
“Look at our playoff run last year. They executed. They said, ‘This is our game plan. This is who we are.’ How many people can compartmentalize that and say, ‘Look, we will figure out that (Michigan) game later, but for now, we have to go do this job and we’re going to execute it and win a championship?”
There was no doubt that Day was on the hot seat after the loss against Michigan last season. The fact that he won it all last season was a big deal to him and his football program. With him having one national title under his belt, the only thing for him to do now is end this four-game losing streak against the Wolverines this season.

Ryan Day probably compartmentalized so hard he forgot where he put the Michigan game plan. 😅

There are a lot of fans are wondering what is going to happen in the Ohio State and Michigan matchup this season. For now, the Buckeyes are focused on the Penn State Nittany Lions matchup. In a few weeks from now though, all the talk will be about if Ohio State and Day can finally beat the Wolverines this season or not.
