“Literally Plays For The Junior Division”: Arch Manning Draws Brutal Jab From Dez Bryant As Ryan Clark Raises Alarm On 2026 QB Draft Class

Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns are coming off a disappointing loss in their week 1 NCAAF season opener. Manning received huge praise from many even before the Longhorns started out this season. The QB has been in the headlines often, but this time, he’s received a bit of criticism from many.

Former NFL star Tom Brady shared a few words on Manning and the Longhorns’ performance against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Brady backed the QB despite his struggles. Manning struggled to lead his team with just one TD. His overall numbers were not great, and the team lost with a 14-7 final score.

Former football safety Ryan Clark was one of the few to criticize Arch Manning. Clark posted on X, taking a shot at Manning, saying the following.

“We might want to stop talking about people waiting on this epic 2026 quarterback draft class too!” Clark wrote on X.

While Clark expressed his feelings, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver called him out in Arch Manning’s defense.

“You’re going to come back and eat these words…Don’t straddle the line..say it with your chest…You..myself..and many people who have played this game at a high level understand that development has to take its place…Arch literally plays in the junior division of the NFL. In the first game of the season..he faced the national champs… He didn’t play against any of the weaker teams where he could get his feet wet before playing a tough opponent,” Dez Bryant wrote on X.

Joel Klatt Supports Arch Manning After Longhorns’ Loss

Brady and Byrant are not the only ones who think that Manning will be alright. Former Colorado Buffaloes QB Joel Klatt shed light on Manning’s first game of the season. Klatt said that Arch Manning will be just fine in time.

“Here’s what I think of Arch and his performance, relax. He’s gonna be just fine. Take the name of his back and take the expectations down a couple of notches. He will be just fine. These were unfair expectations; he had never thrown a pass outside of Austin. This was his first true road start. I can tell you from experience,” Joel Klatt said.

Klatt seems to have confidence in Arch Manning. And as many believe, it’s just the first game for the QB. He has an entire season ahead of him to prove his worth.
