The New York Giants suffered a “big loss” ahead of their Week 4 contest against the Seattle Seahawks. The Giants are playing their third game against a 2022 playoff opponent and are trying to stave off a third blowout against a quality opponent this season.
The Giants’ lone win came against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. The Giants have struggled in the early season with running back Saquon Barkley dealing with an ankle injury. Quarterback Daniel Jones has struggled to live up to his new contract this offseason.
Things could be harder for Jones in Week 4.
The New York Giants rule out Andrew Thomas
According to Jordan Raanan with ESPN, the Giants ruled out left tackle Andrew Thomas with a hamstring injury. Raanan considers Thomas a “big loss” for the Giants on Monday night. It’s still unclear if Saquon Barkley can play against the Seahawks.
LT Andrew Thomas (hamstring) will be OUT Sunday vs Seahawks, per Brian Daboll. Big loss.
RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) will practice again Saturday. That decision will go up until Monday. #giants #Seahawks

The Giants will turn to Joshua Ezeudu to start in place of Thomas. Ezeudu has a 49.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus for his play through the first three games this season.
Ezeudu has struggled in run blocking. That’s something to keep an eye on if Barkley can play.
