The Nebraska Cornhuskers finished with a 6-6 record during the 2024 college football season. Nebraska was off to a hot start during the 2024 college football season, but the Cornhuskers cooled down after that. One player who has been polarizing this season in college football is quarterback Dylan Raiola.

Raiola this season completed 66.6% of his passes for 2,595 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions during his freshman season. He has a lot of room to grow. Nebraska will face the 7-5 Boston College Eagles in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl on December 28. Kickoff for that game will be at NOON ET on ABC.

This is big news for the program. Had he left Nebraska, there is no question that he would have a lot of suitors in the transfer portal with how talented he is.

Surprised he didn’t transfer to Kansas to be closer to Mahomes

Nobody was worried about Fat Mahomes leaving a program that treats him like a god even after having a very disappointing first season for a 5 star recruit. Not a lot of schools will offer more money to a disappointment. Especially after Nebraska already broke the back to get him

He has it made there he’d be insane to leave

A lot of people have been comparing Raiola to Patrick Mahomes for some reason this season. Raiola needs to create his own legacy with the Nebraska Cornhuskers even if he looks a lot like Mahomes.
