The Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Conference Championship Game 28-7 on Saturday night. When a lot of people saw that Alabama got crushed against Georgia, many believed that the 10-3 record for the Crimson Tide was going to knock them out of the college football playoffs.

Well, when the bracket was released on Sunday, Alabama was shockingly in the field, and they were the number nine seed. The Crimson Tide will head on the road and have a rematch with #8 Oklahoma Sooners. It was not a shock to see the #10 Miami Hurricanes in the playoff field with a 10-2 record. Many felt like the 10-2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish were more deserving of a spot than Alabama was.
College Football Fans Believe That the Alabama Crimson Tide Should Not Be in the College Football Playoffs

Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer has to be happy with his team getting into the playoffs. With that being said, there are college football fans who are livid with the decision by the college football playoffs committee to have them in the playoffs. This is what some fans had to say about it on Twitter:
Alabama should NOT be in the CFP. This ridiculous.

Childish— And I don’t blame them for being angry. Alabama should not be in, and Notre Dame should be that 10th spot, below Miami. No, Duke shouldn’t be in either. They’re 8-5.
Notre Dame not playing in a bowl game does not send the message they think it will. I hope they do! https://t.co/6mlLOSdnjd

In case you need a reminder:
This College Football Playoff “committee” is nothing more than a corrupt group of elites with an agenda
In no logical sense should BYU be punished for losing yesterday but Alabama is not
ESPN is in bed with the SEC & its ruining the sport 👎

Alabama should not be in the playoffs. Didn’t deserve it by far.

Alabama has lost to Oklahoma in the last two meetings. The winner of this matchup will face the #1 Indiana Hoosiers in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
