The XFL is a new interest of mine, and since the season began today, I thought I would highlight a few players from the Seattle Sea Dragons. I didn’t know where to begin when choosing what teams to favor, but since there were two players from Alabama on the Seattle Sea Dragons roster, I figured I would start there.

    Chris Owens

Chris Owens was with the Tide for six seasons and played every position along the offensive line. He made his career start with Alabama against Duke in 2019. During his last season, he started twelve games at right tackle and one at center. Owens also earned 1,003 snaps over fifteen games. He earned player of the week honors from the UA coaching staff after the win over Ole Miss. Chris Owens, as a center for the Seattle Sea Dragons, is #55.

    Thomas Fletcher

Thomas Fletcher was with the Tide for four seasons as the starting long snapper. He first appeared with Alabama against Florida State in 2017. Fletcher finished perfect on all snapping duties across all four seasons at the Capstone. He also started every game of his Alabama career. He spent one year with the Carolina Panthers after being drafted in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Fletcher was waived in 2022. Thomas Fletcher, as a long snapper for the Seattle Sea Dragons, is #45.
