Former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban always told his team to avoid “rat poison” and it also happened on Monday in the locker room with head coach Kalen DeBoer. Alabama is the top-ranked team in the country ahead of the Vanderbilt matchup. Fans on Twitter responded to the Crimson Tide doing this once again under a different head coach:

With these mouse traps, it goes to show that Vanderbilt is a game that Alabama should win easily, but you never know after beating Georgia in the final minutes of the game. This is the SEC Conference after all and anything can happen.

Head Coach Kalen DeBoer spoke to the media after the win against the Georgia Bulldogs. He said that his team will need to keep up the momentum this week by saying to bamaonline:

“Heck of a game. Lost my voice a little bit there, obviously. A lot happening there, all game long. A lot of energy that was put out there by coaches and players and proud of the way we played. It took four quarters, and obviously there’s some times where they made a run there — in the second half, in particular. Just proud of the way our guys kept fighting, kept playing …We expect to win games, these games. Of course, the locker room is full of excitement. I also want to make sure that we understand that’s the expectation. There’s a lot of season left. I want to make sure we don’t blow all of our energy into this win, and make sure we can handle success, and get ready for next week.”

This is a game that the Alabama Crimson Tide should win going away on the road against the Vanderbilt Commodores. They need to take care of business like they did a few weeks ago when they easily beat the Wisconsin Badgers (BIG10 Conference team) on the road 42-10.
