AJ Brown calls out JuJu Smith-Schuster
The City of Brotherly Love is in a dour mood Tuesday. The Philadelphia Eagles are in morning following a heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown was having none of a Kansas City Chiefs viral tweet mocking a fellow Eagles teammate.
JuJu Smith-Schuster and the Chiefs were the beneficiaries of a controversial call on their last possession of the game. Eagles cornerback James Bradberry was called for an obvious holding penalty on Smith-Schuster. However, many NFL fans feel the refs could have let the penalty slide because the call pretty much ended the game in the Chiefs’ favor.

Smith-Schuster went with an unclassy but pretty humorous take on Valentine’s Day. He Tweeted what looked to be a holiday card with Bradberry on it with the words:
“I’ll hold you when it matters most”

AJ Brown was pretty upset when the Tweet went viral. He responded by quote tweeting Smith-Schuster:
“First off congratulations. Y’all deserve it .This is lame. You was on the way out the league before mahomes resurrected your career on your 1 year deal Tik-Tok boy . He admitted that he grabbed you but don’t act like your like that or ever was. But congratulations again!”

Smith-Schuster is known for posting TikTok’s of him dancing on other team’s logos at midfield. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid even commented about the wide receiver being faster on his “TikTok tapes.”

JuJu had a pretty good season
Smith-Schuster had a pretty good season with the Chiefs. He finished with 933 yards receiving and three touchdowns in the regular season. He had 53 yards receiving against the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Smith-Schuster had no touchdowns in the postseason, but there’s a good argument to be made that Bradberry’s hold kept Smith-Schuster from earning a Super Bowl touchdown reception.
In this case, all is fair in love and war.
